About

I’m Maresa Mohilo-Bichay, founder of MAMO INTERIORS.

Since 2013, I have designed interiors for homes, restaurants, shops and workplaces. My work explores the relationship between people, spaces and the things they surround themselves with.

With a background in psychology, sociology and interior design, I begin with how a space is lived in: what people do there, what matters to them and what they need room for.

Alongside my design practice, I select furniture, objects, books and art. The MAMO Archive brings together pieces I have chosen over the years.

MAMO INTERIORS and objects from my curated selection have been featured in publications including VOGUE, AD, ELLE, GRAZIA and GQ.

Through workshops, exhibitions and small gatherings at the studio, I invite others to explore these relationships with me.
